MICROBLADING IS A FORM OF TATTOOING
Unlike the sometimes Sharpie-esque effects of permanent makeup,
microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Microblading is more of an embroidery stroke, that looks like real hairs.
The result can last up to 18 months, before beginning to fade!
MICROBLADING TAKES TIME
It's good to know that we pay so much attention to detail. The first hour we are drawing the shape in with removeable pencil. During this time, the best customized shape for every client is chosen based on your bone structure, eye placement and face shape.
During the microblading process we use a special microblading pen to draw on individual strokes one by one. It's an extremely meticulous process that takes around two hours to complete.
THE BEST PART ABOUT MICROBLADING
The best part about this technique is that there is no down time! Your new set of eyebrows will be ready for a selfie immediately after the process. Initially stronger in color, your new brows will soften in 2-3 weeks. However, it's essential to do proper care until the healing process is complete; and then to get a touch-up at least 4 weeks, but preferably 6 weeks after, so
your eyebrows can last as long as possible.
PREPARE FOR YOUR MICROBLADING SERVICE
If you take blood thinners or use Retinol, stop one week before your service or touch-up. Avoid blood thinners, aspirin, omega 3 and aspirin.
IT DOESN'T HURT (TOO MUCH)
If you are worried that the process is painful, we apply a liquid anesthetic, to minimize the pain to almost zero. Some clients may feel slight discomfort. Overall it feels like little scratches. You feel it, but it's relatively painless.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually it takes a week to ten days for the epithelial crust (the pigment that is not absorbed by the body) to form and slough off. Your skin will be considered healed after that happens.
